Download that specific map and put the .vl2 file in the folder named "Base" where your installed tribes 2 is located.

I really recommend this mod to whoever is into lots of explosions, loads of ways to play and fun bots. The server haves some maps where bots even use the mod's deployables.

I'll be honest here and say that in my opinion, that bloom looks very bad. Making the image very bright to make you not see the bad textures is not very... aesthetic. High resolution textures would be way better. Unreal Tournament 99 for example, haves high resolution textures and a patch to enable DX10. I know that the same thing may be impossible in tribes 2, but blinding you with brightness isn't very good either. This actually looks worse than the default graphics.

Play tribes 2 with high ping, you won't have the advantage of a low ping but in my opinion tribes 2 is much better than tribes ascend. And it's free with no pay for equipment bullshit. Or grinding.

It's just my opinion. Although tribes 2 haves way more stuff than ascend, custom scripts, hundreds of maps, some mod servers here and there, bots, and better players.

Oops! I forgot about this thread. The mod seems to be broken.. you see all these weapons in the inventory menu for scout/medium/juggie/medic/assassin etc. but a huge amount of them don't work. I wasn't able to use any new weapon only some of the default ones.

I hope it's not my tribes 2 install, I used a clean tribes 2 install with the rc2a patch and a tribes 2 install without the rc2a patch. Maybe you can fix it so we can try it?

I think CRC checking kicks you out if you have custom skins, look at the preference's and modify that setting to 0.

Yeah, the only way to make the bots better is to add proper bot support for the map and edit the ai scripts.

The only thing you can do is tell pinkpanther about it.

Hmm.. what can I say, I expected bots to be a lil bit more precise with the shooting but I did not see any difference between real time and normal priority.

Less fps lagg probably? Didn't real time just made faster calculations?
