I created this CD with a webpage walkthrough because I giving it out to some of my friends and I don't want them calling me "How do you install this?" or "It's not working!"
So i created this and hopefully some other people will use it too
I
do not take credit for webpage layout, webpage pictures, TribesNext logo, the walkthrough screenshots (
http://www.tribesnext.com/forum/index.php?topic=37.0), or the Tribes 2 and Tribes Next Installers.
CD should only be about 540 MB (this is with the rc2a patch, not any later ones)
BEFORE BURNING TO DISC:You must place the Tribes 2 Installer and Tribes Next patcher in the
/files/ folder.
Tribes 2 Installer needs to be named: tribes2_gsi.exe
Tribes Next Patch needs to be named: TribesNext.exe
IF THESE FILES ARE NOT IN THIS FOLDER OR NOT NAMED CORRECTLY
THE WEBPAGE LINKS WILL BE BROKEN AND WILL NOT WORK!!
When those files are in the correct folder and correctly named, you can now burn your CD for distribution!
