I just downloaded Tac2 mod and was struck by the custom shapes and vehicles and weapons and am dieing to know how to create them myself. Any ideas?

Use a moddling program like Worldcraft (which is the most commonly used Torque shape crafter) or, some people use Valve Hammer, even though it's not meant to be used with Tribes 2.
