Attached is a screenshot set showing off the new in-game browser systems.

Expect the next (and likely last) patch to Tribes 2 in the next few weeks.

Would you include competition maps in the patch please.

This would really help with introducing new players to a competitive environment.

I am looking forward to this patch. Perhaps it will bring those who still play the game together within the browser system.

I am guessing the browser IRC will work like the old days. Perhaps route it to irc.tribalwar.com

The return of those features has me excited. Brings back memories of how T2 was far more advanced and feature-filled compared to everything else at the time.

Adding smarter bots to maps for LAN and leisure.
RV maps have vehicles, RI are infantry based.
Most maps support 64 bots for CTF & CNH.

Could you possibly setup an in-game league/ladder using the browser system?

Nice to see continued updates to Tribesnext.

Is it possible to update Tribes 2 graphically using some sort of OpenGL hacks? I saw that someone had created a bloom shader for T1 though I think that was only possible because the T1 source was leaked or something.

YES PLEASE. Add client side maps to the patch, and/or an autodownloader! This will really revitalize Goon Haven and T2! If you don't, this will be horrible!

But yeah, browser,  AWESOME. THANKS A LOT!

Client side maps / downloader pretty please.

Clientside maps will not be added to the patch. Only the components to get community services running will make it in.

Fortunately, the autodownloader is still in.

I would have posted earlier if I knew where this info was.

At this point I've stopped hoping and concluded it would just be better for someone else to just do it.
(Because nothing else is ever going to happen with TN being all blackboxy)
