Once upon a time, Vector released a pretty amazing update to Bomberhud called Vecterhud that provided an actual HUD for all aircraft, complete with scrolling heading scale, altitude scale, and a slew of awesome UI features like a mini CC.

Unfortunately I can only find Bomberhud v1. Does anyone know where this new one is hiding in the tubes?

EDIT: The actual last-known filename was "Vecterhudv091". All downloads point to: http://www.stealth-and-mutilation.com/Downloads/VeCTeRHudV091.zip

Which obviously doesn't work...

UPDATE: Mystery solved. His website had it hosted, but didn't have the link. I just tried the filename for Vecterhud instead of Bomberhud and it worked! Lucky break!

Download worked for me.

This sounds like a very interesting concept, I'll have to try this out.

So you don't need to install anything else to get this to work right? By the way you worded it, it sounds like you have to have bomberhud. Is this true?

The readme in the zip file doesn't say anything about having prerequisites (just the usual "put this in gamedata/base"). Just going by their first letters, I would guess that this would get loaded after, and thus override, bomberhud, V coming after B.

Okay I tried your download link... Didn't work. Then I googled took the second result or something led up to some events messed around with the address bar and came to his main page. Then I went to his Vecterhud page and chose the second mirror. This has the exact same address as you posted and I think it may just be that you have to hit the link from his Vecterhud page. This is the page http://f22vecter.tripod.com/tribes2/vhud.htm.
