Yeah, be aware, a lot of servers consider that cheating. Some of them also cause "instability" with TribesNext. You have been warned.
-
Make sure you remove all servers from the blacklist in the TracerECM menu.
-
Launch Tribes 2, click the LAUNCH button in the lower left corner, and click settings. "Visible Distance" should be under one of those tabs.
-
I'm very well aware of that. Say on-topic. :P
-
Remove flames from thread.
-
Vista will inevitably UE if you alt + tab out of Tribes 2. We don't know why and we don't even know if it's related to TribesNext. Run in windowed mode.
-
Trimmed this thread down to size again. This thread is to stay on-topic from now on.

Some "Thank you" threads have very little, if any, replies to them. If you don't want the thread to live, then don't reply to it.

Both of you can play under the same account until a week is passed, where you can create an account.

I often "adopt" people only to show them how to get off their feet and into the sky. I leave the rest to them, so they can become what they want to become. Last thing I want is more Eolks running around. ;) I'll definitely teach people about pubbing and some fun things. Otherwise, pwning in tribes 2 boils down to…

.cs.dso files. They sometimes make settings stick.

We should hook up some time. My steam account name is Tocksman.

Ensure that you're clicking on the LAN shortcut. Or, if you're using a custom one, make sure -nologin is one of the parameters, preferably first. TribesNext does not run on LAN servers.
-
Your name rings a bell. You were probably just a guy I brushed past while I was pubbing way back.

You'd be surprised how many people don't know that a sensor jammer exposes cloakers. In fact, I love people who wear sensor jammers, just makes it that much more fun to dupe them. I usually end up getting killed once or twice due to a stray TK mortar in a good cloaking game. I get cursed at quite often, since most people…

Won't hurt if you try this one.

I can already tell this thread is heating up, and might take a turn for the worst. Chill out and stay on-topic, guys.

Sure you're not referring to all the squabbling going on at The-Construct? Except for a few flames here and there, this community is generally calm.
-
Yeah. Most people who cloak don't really do much except kill one or two people, then get found and killed. I usually try to make a return run against a turtler when I cloak. Usually a back-shock or a concussion grenade will get the flag in my hands. Occasionally, I'll zap a fast flag runner if the route to the flag area is…

Renegades is probably what he's looking for, as it was very popular back in the day.

Your super awesome gaming desktop probably has duel cores. Try one of these solutions.
