Except freeze...

Download worked for me. This sounds like a very interesting concept, I'll have to try this out.
-
Seconded, motion goes to vote... All in favor, press insert to vote
-
That seems to apply to Linux as a whole :P "Works for me" vs "I spent three days trying to get it to work and it didn't work"
-
For the record, neither have I, but then I lead all disc shots as best I can anyway.
-
*fire* Doo do doo, it's fun being an explosive disc. Oh yeah the player was going to the left, okie dokie then. *veer*
-
Translated: They'll do it eventually.
-
He accidentally the whole picture.
-
And by fuck those assholes I mean they should die in a fire. And by die in a fire I mean they should eat hot plasma.
-
And it says something about you if you have to change your MAC address to continue griefing people in a game.
-
There have been complaints about this player before, but the only measure against this player would be for every server to ban on sight.
-
Maybe they hope people will come to their servers? Hoping to become the next Branzone Central or Goon Haven? Maybe not that ambitious, but looking for publicity nonetheless. Variety is the spice of life, no? Maybe by advertising a new server in a thread here, some random newbie who's only lurked until now might go play…
-
Now don't'cha think we should be nicer to the folks here? Ya sure, you betcha we should :P Course, if someone mortars me in the face I may be inclined to skip the uff da and go for kill.
-
While that's a good idea for when the server is close to capacity, I think it might be better if there were some sort of threshhold in place for OBS drops. Like, if on a 64-man server there are more than 50 players, OBS has a time limit. For less than that, OBS does not. I think that would be a good compromise; probably…
-
I've seen that too, but have never seen more than one player on it, if any.

This belongs in the Support section. In any case, TN is known to have some remaining issues on Linux systems. Check the related threads in the Support section.

Maybe it's epic lag? How's your ping?
-
But the real question is, will it blend? Don't breathe this.
-
I don't think it'll have to do with the auto-repair script in PJ's pack; only bug that causes for me is the weapon it switches to after repairing occasionally fires on its own. Can't think of any of the other scripts in the all-in-one pack that would cause hold-weapons to fail. Are you running scripts other than PJ's pack?

This belongs in the Support section. Also http://letmegooglethatforyou.com/?q=BBCODE

What?
-
Describe your operating environment, otherwise we can't discern probable causes given the symptoms. Are you running any scripts? Does this happen outside of Tribes? If you go to the server list and call up the info box for a server, can you drag that box around?
-
See http://www.tribesnext.com/forum/index.php?topic=143.0 Sounds like it works to some degree with Wine, but the networking implementation causes issues.
-
So they do the thing too where they're working on you and talking about something completely different? :P I hate it when they do that at the dentist, because I so want to chime in but it's hard to do that with half your mouth numb and a bunch of tools in the way. So frustrating...
-
I suppose that's possible, and it fits pretty well with Pantalones' description of the problem. Starts out normal, but eventually lags to hell. Considering that Comcast's new throttling system will let you use all the bandwidth for a short period of time (I've heard 15 minutes, and I don't think T2 generates so much data…

You remind me of one of the random refugees of HL2...

Is there a "x defended the flag carrier" message that ever pops up? I would think that might be it. Otherwise I guess it would logically apply to defending whatever you're escorting.
-
I guess if you have a medium loadout with flares that you use for things other than TGing (maybe medium flag-capping?), then it's not a terrible idea to accept the job of TG if no one else is around or willing. You can get to the bomber faster than a heavy would (assuming such a heavy isn't en route already), and with…

I read "I'm a pre-law student at command completed...", is that bad? The super-collar there makes you look like you could pull off a Dracula look :P

Okay aside from the epic shudders I get from picturing (heh) a slice cut from my eyeball, I assume they have a way to keep your eye perfectly still while doing this? And do we "see" the whole process or are our eyes like turned off for the duration?
