Tribes is free and has been free for quite a while now. What would be illegal would be trying to sell it as your own software or duplicate the game in another engine (as that may be copyright infringement).

Well it's still very possible that I'll have a 64 slot non-classic server, but right now I'm trying to increase the number of vehicle maps available. At least with vehicles AND classic there's a little bit of something for everyone.

Well, I wouldn't need to kick someone. Can the server not just ignore the request (from someone who already voted/someone calling a vote before the timelimit is up) and then send them a centerprint with "hey dummy, be patient"?

Learning how to play the game != learning how to perfect key skills. Goon Haven is ok for the former, not the latter. GH is the only server I play on and I don't blow myself up with mortars (well, most of the time anyway). Well that's up to you. There are definitely clans out (new and old) that might be recruiting. As for "teams" (like in a tournament)...
