Old class B LAN patch + TribesNext?

I'm talking about the one that patches the exe. Does TN include this patch? How bad is it to install TN over a LAN-patched exe?

    I think Thyth said something about it being ok to run TribesNext with the Class B IP patch somewhere around here.
