I am trying to find if anyone has done a damage analysis for the weapons in Tribes 2 (ie Tribes Next) or the preceding Starsiege: Tribes game.

Actual numbers do not appear in http://tribes.wikia.com/wiki/Weapons_(Starsiege:_Tribes/Tribes_2) like they do for the individual articles in http://tribes.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Weapons for later games

Basically looking for something like https://web.archive.org/web/20120201085557/http://ph-matt.dyndns.org/~matt/weapondamage.php but done for the old games instead of Vengeance/Ascend.

I'm curious how the weapon damages related to each other in the old games compared to the new ones, and knowing the exact numbers would help with things like building them to RP with in GURPS.

There have been a few people who've put some info together in the past, though I'm not sure what'd still be around to find.

They do differ in each game and each mod (e.g. projectiles in classic tend to move faster or do more damage than those in base), but their values are fully exposed in script form; there'd be nothing preventing someone from taking these values and building up a spreadsheet.  Granted, you'd need to make some calculations to connect them to your other values since the damage model differs significantly, and concepts like clips and reloading don't actually exist, but it's definitely doable.

If you're using it for roleplaying, there is also official internal lore written at Dynamix around the release of T2 exploring the creation of all the weapons and technology available in-universe.  I don't have it on hand at the moment, but it should be floating around here somewhere.
