Questionable Vista(32-bit) compatibility issues

Program stall, for lack of better words, once I open Tribes and right before I can log in, Tribes2.exe stalls 5-10 seconds, then resumes to work.


-- is anyone else experiencing this issue on non-vista systems?

-- or is this how it was intended to be?

    There might be a slight delay on startup to allow the ruby interpreter and a few scripts to load. As long as you don't get any errors, you should be fine.

    There is a lot of communication over anonymous pipes between the Tribes 2 process and the Ruby interpreter on startup. That's when the cryptography module is loaded.

    On most systems, this process takes under half a second, and doesn't contribute much to the load time.
