how do u get png files to work

i right clicked and saved some tribes2 skins to base and they were png files but they arent working please help thank you

The PNG files for skins need to be saved to your base/textures/skins/ folder.

Doom 93, I think Darkzigger means that you should make a ZIP file consisting of all the skins. You can use ZipCentral to create that ZIP: http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/file/fid,6531-order,1-page,1-c,alldownloads/description.html.

Then upload that ZIP in this thread for Darkzigger, if the file is not very big. Sorry, I don't know what the maximum space limit for an attachment there is here.

Also, if you want to view PNG images outside of the game (I think), you need to use a program that supports that file format. IrfanView (http://www.irfanview.com/) is one such program.
