I have a dell 1505 with a 7300 GS, and it plays tribes 2 fine. You may want to try switching to OpenGl. (I dont have a D3D option in WIndows 7 anyway)

Ive shocklanced a couple when Im able to, but I mean can you actually out run a shrike, in say base or classic. Good point on the minediscin, will give mess around with that.

I love the goons server here lately, even when it is packed. Esp when Im getting TK'ed on other servers by a gang of 2 guys. Also, internet players can join in as well this. Otherwise, just install a base copy of Tribes 2 without the tribes2 nextpatch and play via the LAN mode. But then nobody but the people on ur LAN will be able to get in the server.

You can go into online mode, and press"Insert" after the server list is fully loaded. When the dialog box pops up asking for the I.P. just type in the LAN IP address of the computer its on. I.E. auto aim? please god no. On of the reasons I came back to T2 was because of all the hackers in Combat Arms. Every server I would join either had an ad bot,invernerable hack, or an auto aim hack. It got rediculas.

True^^ I got it fixed, and Im almsot done with the map. I had to go back and redo teh spawngraph because I raised the terrain up some around the bases and started spawning underground, luckly, it didnt bug out me. Ive tried that but Im not sure Im doing it right, Ive "alt-clicked" Base0 for where I want the gen, but it creates at the very bottom of the list, Base1. I never did figur this out, but Ive come to the conclusion is the crappy frontier firmware on the DSL modem, it would only let me forward the ports for T2 to one IP, I could not get it to allow more the one computer to access the ports for t2. Im pretty sure thats the problem. I think Im just going to bridge into another…
