i haven't noticed any blatant cheating on the goons server. rest assured, if anyone is cheating, they are probably way too terrible to have any sort of impact on the game
-
yep, i was there too. the sniper is a really crappy player (and ironically, a very bad sniper), and wouldn't know a cheat if it sodomized his mom
-
no. it's the truth

if you don't pick laser rifle and chaingun, you lose
-
happy mod is much easier to detect, and frankly, its effects are overrated.
-
well, it's tough shit, because it's completely undetectable and completely legal. you have to get used to people finding ways to help improve their game

i'm actually in disagreement with this. I think the cloak pack is usually better than the sj. team little and guys like absolute used cloak packs extremely well in standoffs, where it only takes one mine disc to take out cappers. for more standard LO purposes, i think sj suits better, but I really like cloak pack for…

it doesn't keep it from being lame and stupid

is there a reason that HV announcements sound like infomercials, complete with retarded crap like Where Machines Of War Blaze Paths Of Bloody Fury? seriously?

oh please. i've tried plenty of creative stuff. don't encourage people with almost no experience to think that these crazy schemes would actually work in a real situation. I'll agree that a lot of people were stuck in the "proper" way to play, but in order to break out of those ways you first need to have a pretty talented…

yeah...that would never work

as for the basics, i'll go over basic positions and 7 man strategy, because i don't want to go to sleep quite yet. your typical team is going to have a combination of the following: Offense: capper - caps flag (duh). These guys in 14 man generally were less important than the HO that helped setup the flag to be cleared,…

http://www.fantastic-incorporated.com/demos/ watch demos of old school good players and high level matches the players nowadays are better, but these guys are still way (and i mean way) above your average player edit: as for learning how to play in a more competetive setting, i encourage people that are interested to go…
-
not really. most of the good t1 competition maps transfer quite easily over to t2

i tell it like it is

just what we need, a super newbified server that lets idiots wallow in mediocrity for an eternity Happy thoughts and blessed bunnies to you all!

ctf is the deepest game mode with the most variability and the most tactics, which is why it's the best gametype to play, along with it being the most popular
-
well, lights can go upwards of 700 kph in classic, so yes they can definitely outrun shrikes. Some of the faster caps in the game will def. outrun shrikes (one of the back to front routes on slapdash will get you at least 400-500 kph, and that's still run by many people), but most of the time it's not efficient to take the…

i can't understand sarcasm across the internets
