The game will be unresponsive for a few minutes when you click the "Generate" button. Just wait it out, and it will eventually finish creating your key.
If your machine is fairly old, make sure to select the 512-bit key - it will be considerably faster than the others, but it will still take some time. If you have the time, you can try running the game in a window and letting it run for 5-15minutes.
