You know your a real old school Tribes 2 player...
if you remember the notorious TKer "Vanguarde". wow, now thats a name I haven't heard in a long time. Someone mentioned him and TribesKller over at TW. That brought back some memories.
For the lot of you that wont know, Vanguarde pretty much terrorized the ingame Tribes 2 community on a daily basis from launch till about July 01. Tribes 2 saw its share of Teamkillers and trolls but Vanguarde was probably the one to stand out the most. Most famous for his utter hatred of "East", he would sit in T2 chat and utterly cuss out East and Qix for such a "shitty" game then join any servers they played on and Tk the hell out of the DEV members.
This would be followed by several posts in the T2 forums telling them "they got what they deserved." His hatred quickly broadened to the rest of the community with rampant teamkilling and personal attacks in chat and the forum agianst other players. There were countless threads calling for his banning from the entire game. Server Admins made auto kick scripts for him. There were even Teamkilling tribes made in his honor.
East did eventually ban him from the game and the community settled down. But nonetheless he managed to make a name for himself as the "TribeKiller" of Tribes 2.
