  • All the developers appreciate your thanks I'm sure, but please check next time as there are already like 4 thank you threads.
  • That's great, now if we could only keep the y axis interval higher than the x : )
  • THANK YOU FOR THE CALENDAR KRASH!! Admin, post your pickup games in the calendar! LET THE GAMES BEGIN!
  • WE NOW HAVE A CALENDAR FOR POSTING OUR PICKUP GAMES IN!! Anyone hosting please post there from here on out! Thank you!
  • This is not spamming, this guys just looking for people to play with. I would also say this falls into the topics that are acceptable to a category entitled: "General Discussion". We want to see community interaction! We want people building Tribes! We want competition after they build them! Good luck with your tribe mate.…
  • Why would you ever lay T2 down to rest? Although you may get bored with certain elements of the game, there is always the player to player and tribe to tribe interactions that make it interesting. But I guess that's not for everyone...
  • Maybe if you elaborate on what MD2(Meltdown2) is and what your tribe is about, you might pickup more players.
  • Well, I guess that's your opinion. Tribes2 may be 8 years old but there are plenty who are ready for some competition games again. Stay positive, 5% of the original players is still enough players for MANY tribes.
  • This topic was not intended as a place for the participants of the pickup games to argue with the server admin. Please take your argument to the appropriate place. Thank you.
  • As this is a fairly tight community, would yourself of Thyth be opposed to releasing a specific name if a computer were to crash or for some insane reason and email address removed, and a password be forgotten, provided that the requester can give proof of account ownership?
  • Any suggestions of root categories that you feel would supplement the Tribesnext community?
  • Exactly Wildcard, everyone has an opinion about which version of Tribes2 they like the best. That is a fact. What we're after in this topic though is more subjective. What are the strategies that veteran players like yourself have come to live by? I have given some of mine, I see a couple non-takers in there saying that…
  • You could implement some kind of crc check upon login, that way relevant files would be flagged as modified by the server and would not allow the user to login. Of course this would only be a useful method of keeping out users that modified the files in queue for check.
  • So... what you're saying is you would like to see more root categories in the forum?
  • I suppose I'll let my voice be heard in this thread as well. I've been playing since '01, I've gathered some skills along the way, now that we've got tribesnext i love it more than ever! You may have seen me as : Dischord81/Atlas/Abstract/KillMachine/Fuze21... and some others that i can't recall. See you in game!!
  • One more quick strategy: Don't be afraid to use your tank for defense as well. It's got WAY more armor than a heavy, just make sure you know when to get out, and don't let the enemy run off with it if your gunning, and no one is driving.
  • Great tips man! You couldn't be more right about the individual score/kill tally. The individual score is not a way to gauge your improvements. It's quite possible that the more critical players can have a lower score, for instance the flag defender and generator defenders. There positions are crucial in a game, rarely…
  • Due to the renewed youth of Tribes 2, perhaps we should start a thread on how to enable Team Speak with tribes, and what servers support. ;D
  • BUMP! if anyone knows of pickup games coming up, please let us know by post in this thread!
  • Welcome to TribesNext bro, see you in game!
  • This may be a good or bad idea, or frustrating... What about an all vertical map, the bottom team has better assets... just something that kinda popped into my brain while i was reading this thread.
  • Not necessarily, you'd be right next to the satellites : )
  • that's a great set of adjectives man.
  • In conjunction with the strategy outline above is the communication support built into Tribes 2. Being aware of where the weaknesses are and being aware of when there is a weakness in your own defense is paramount in winning a serious game. Also, acting on those weaknesses, don't be the guy who sits at the vehicle pad…
  • Hey Krash, can we get a calendar control so memebers can populate it with relevant events like pickup games and such? Tribesnext developers would also be able to post when critical updates will be ready for download.
  • I wonder if we could talk Krash into putting a calendar control on this site so members can post pickup games, events, and such. That would be sweet!
  • I didn't, I have a late night on Fridays unfortunately. I would have loved to have made it, anyone know what's coming up next? hopefully something on Sunday, or Monday evening!
  • That's great bro, did anyone fraps it? can u give us highlights, or tell us who were the mvps?
  • That's a great idea man! Some of the tv maps were great, it would be a shame to see them go the way of tv, when they could still be enjoyed by the T2 crowd! Good thinking!
  • You are the man! Thanks for taking the time put the ball in motion by taking the first steps! There are those who talk and those who get things done, and you Kryand are one of those who gets things done. Let me know if you need a hand, I'd be happy to help out.
