I would only keep data and not apps on a usb drive. Not that it won't work but that USB really stands for Unpredictable Serial Bus and usb is not known for low latency, low latency being what fps games are all about.

is t2 being passed by your firewall?

HI! ok what does hosting a server on a master mean? you have dedicated servers that host a game, you have listen servers (wich means you play and host on the same machine) and you have master servers master servers tell each client what game servers are available to play on

in xp start the game, and then get into task manager/processes/tribes2 then right click on t2, select affinity, uncheck one cpu have u deleted all dso files?

One thing to try is in your vid card driver control panel make sure antialiasing and anisotropic filtering are disabled. Try that and get back to us.

Hi Delete all .dso files you find, T2 will remake them when the game starts, but hopefully this time they will not cause ues. what is it that makes people think servers with more than 20 players ensures a better game? mebbe if you equate spam with a good game

So you either have supposedly infinite jetpack and skiing in v2 with 6 "worthless" players as opposed to the 18 guys in heavy on each team at goons spamming mortars every map. With server choices like that how can you lose?
