Laggs ai is in the community patch, so works on every map that supports ai if you run community patch goodness.

If you don't have music or voice comms running, you can easily hear a cloaker. Just look around and if you can't see him via dust or footprints start chaining the place till you do. But yeah, a simple script like autopoints might be what all the fuss is about rather than hm2.

Hmm. Dynamic pathfinding huh? I just read a pdf on that. If anyone wants some ai pdfs post an email addy and I will pass them on. This is general pathfinding with varous algos rather than straight torque ai stuff.

I run a base with ai server and a ultra ren server both, and have no issues with the latest or previous patches. Also, if one runs their server in a dmz, one needs to set a firewall in their server with appropriate ports and protocols.

How big are maps again? And lagg's ai already does most of what you want them to do.

If the 50 or 60 headshots in a 30 min game is factual, I would seriously want to rummage through his t2 folder.

One of the zods did a scarabrae with the right numbers for bots, dunno if the map is still around or not.

I would look into the tecmfix script that is showing the error, but you should post the console when a client gets dropped.

People were actualy using marker or grease pencil to wp on their monitor.

Ati has antialiasing issues with t2, and may cause other oddities in the game. And yeah the 9800 is a slight core improvement to the 8800 series, but lacks the wider memory bus, thusly the similar or even reduced performance.

I run a 8800gts 320mb (oc'd to 600 core, 900 mem) in the same motherboard as the op's. Runs great, isn't as taxing on the psu as a full 8800 (or 9800 or higher card) is. I got it used for $40 and traded the guy a dvdrom. If it's good but used, don't turn your nose up on it. Newer cards like the 9800 have a narrower memory…

I like an ak in 5.45mm, ak for cheap reliability, the 5.45 round exhibits a pronounced tumbling effect as its cg changes after impact. Pops in your front, might exit out your side, spins longways as it decides what organs to keyhole as it exits. And the G17, 9mm perfection. Oh you meant in Tribes2... ok I like the laser…
