It's not Tribes 2 unless I can spam voice-binds to the enemy team, and script in new (and useless?) keybinds! And when will people use edit instead of double-posting?
-
Tried activating the num-pad via function key?

I'm sure the game servers were doing just fine... However, the server list is hosted on this site and thus was affected by the outage as well.

Scripts == Cylons?! Joking aside, the only things I'd view as cheats would be anything that aims for you (i.e. HappyMod2) or otherwise accesses those parts of the game that were explicitly locked (read: not script accessible). Do some of the scripts become annoying, yes... But, any monkey can perform the same thing as the…

Only a week and a half late! :P

I can't wait!

Delete all .dso files in your base folder, and try again.

Wrong. They have full rights and source to the entire Starsiege/Tribes series. Thyth is using the T2 C/C++ API that -Linker- wrote as part of his Lua addon... It's just been stripped of the Lua support, and had a Ruby library grafted in.

No, there aren't any ruby-gems installed...nor will some of them work (net/http for example), as there are a few components missing from the ruby build.

Fixed.

Best advice is to fetch the installer via bittorrent (here).

I thought they died... And, probably because it wasn't enough like Tribes 2 ::) Heresy!

Not everybody has time to hold another key down.. :P

If somebody is feeling crafty, they could whip together an installer that downloads the GSI (via bittorrent?) and then the latest TN patch. :o

This error tends to only occur with either a firewall misconfiguration or an AntiVirus program that checks HTTP connections. See if your router has a firewall built-in, or if your AntiVirus has an option to scan links/http...

I don't think there was an actual Mac version of T2, but he can probably run the Windows version under Crossover (or equivalent)...

The hit-sound is something done by Classic, I do believe.

Just select that checkbox next to the From label (top of overview list), and then hit the Delete Selected button...

Moved to Support. If you had read the Known Issues, you would know that the 1024-bit key has been known to have some issues. I suggest you retry with a 512 or 768 keysize.

You mean CTF isn't Team DeathMatch!? Vehicles aren't an integral part of the game itself, which is why you don't see them on every map... BUT, they are useful on particular maps (when done right).

TribesNext provides actual accounts (and soon, browser/t-mail support), whereas AlternateMasterSupport simply provides server listing. You can run the Windows client via Wine, after some minor work-around (see here)
-
You can, in Opera... The other browsers (FF, Chrome, etc) seem to either handle javascript or rendering differently.

I'm sure their reply would be something along the lines of "So you like Tribes 2? You should try out Fallen Empire: Legions, over at Instant Action!" :P

Yes, the auth server status page is currently disabled. And yes, the auth server is (at current) down.

Patches are (at current) backwards compatible. Once the community features (i.e. clans and such) are reintegrated, any RC1 servers will still work, but won't be able to process those features. And in regards to a centralized news/update page, Krash has been busy with life as of late, and thus hasn't had time to make…

I think the Practice and Admin HUDs were statically implemented, whereas the Mod and Score HUDs were implemented such that you could do (albeit limited) customization.
