Creating account problem

I'm getting the "The server detected a problem in your request and could not create an account" message. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game and patch. I've tried it on 3 different computers at 3 different IP addresses. And I've tried different usernames and passwords. All resulting in this same message. 2 of the computers were already running tribes with an account that was created successfully. Any idea on my problem?

You're probably running an out of date version of the patch.

Where do I get the most recent patch? Is the one under the downloads section the most recent?
