Tribes 2 servers running the Base?

Is there any servers, without bots. Running the original Base?
If not, would there be players enough to play on it?

When reading these forums, there seem to be somekind hope for the Base. It ain't so fast than Classic so it needs more teamwork. And it does not have such unbalanced features so it needs more skills for every class and position. But these seems to be the reasons why some people wants to play classic, because it is faster and easier to play than Base.
So would it be stupid to host a public Base server for those who enjoy teamwork and skilled playing?

p.s Those who do not like Base at all, can continue enjoying the Classic....

    Houston Vehicles had a base server up for a while. Dunno if it's still there or not.

    BASE RULES! The T1 players got their panties in a wad cuz it is slow and sluggish. Personally, I like base for the above stated reason, does not have such unbalanced features so it needs more skills for every class and position, it needs more teamwork

    If you do run a base server, use small maps. The T1 Map Pack is good for base also.

    Yes we are still up but we need some players to fill it up.

    ;D there are quite a few base servers they usually say "variant" most clasic say "classic", and there's quite a few custom mods, only one really good Version 2 server up it's ## {dggs} Fast V2 ::) :o give us a try sometime ::)
