How to host a server (Version 2 specifically)

I'm wanting to host my own Version 2 server. Think I have it downloaded and everything..(Got it in a 2gig pack of others) and I'm wanting to host it from my machine, mainly for me and my friends to play together, but I'm not real sure how to put the files in correctly to host a modded server.
