I use it but only on my lan, and without server telnet/console access. Easy to use for monitoring status, but you can't control anything without console access. I consider telnet enabled in my servers far too much of a security risk.

Wonder what the cause was. Glad you fixed it anyway! Now if you run bots, you will probably want to set them to .99 skill, otherwise they're pretty tarded. You might want to check out Lagg's bots, but if you run the community update patch you have Lagg's ai already.

What does your startup string look like? Delete any dsos before and after making any changes?

Well, a common mod was to add the t2 skins to t1 as t1 is low poly gaming from 1998, which means it's ugly. But the gameplay is great regardless.

I'm guessing the server gets confused sometimes, what with 50 players all shooting and flying and hacking and whatnot, the server likely seldom gets restarted to clean up anything leftover in memory. Hence: it runs funny.
