I ve downloaded the latest clientside mod, but still have the reticle issue. Also, when maps are loading it says i have mismatched version... here is the list of the scripts I use, the only guess I have is that there is a compatibility issue with one of these - I have no idea with which one, though...…

Just tried it. Its a fun mod, has some annoying features like the various laser weapons, but enjoyable overall. My only problem is that I cannot see the crosshair when using the mod based veapons of vehicles... most likely some script issue, but if there is any way aruond this, I would play the mod more often.

I personally hate T:A. It just doesn't gives you the freedom and the variety of choices T2 does, the gameplay is much less team oriented and the vehicles are bad, too, +restricted. In fact, pretty much everything is restricted in T:A as a commercial attempt, unlike T2. Even though, T:A is free to try, so why not do it?

Is it just me, or the shrike really had that ominous T:V feeling? Something just wasn't right with that shrike... it didn't have that... I dunno... floating, or swimming(?) kind of feeling as in T2. Also, from the video doesn't show whether the map is caged or not infinite, which has a huge impact on vehicle play. :-\

No, I was wrong. Still getting the "invalid account certificate" problem. I think I should go to wine 1.1.11, ok, but how could I get that? It doesn't appear in the wine database. Sad. :(

I tested the game again on wine 1.0.1, this time on Bodhilinux (Ubuntu 10.04 with E17). Now its working just fine...

How is this even possible to IP ban someone? If you disconnect&reconnect to your ISP, you are given a new IP anyway, or if you have a router - then again you can change your own IP, can't you? Or Im getting this whole IP thing wrong?
