Tailgunner should first suit up with a remote inventory station.
First run is to establish a forward repair/rearm base some where behind enemy or out of bounds.
A remote base and having a competent crew will keep a Thundersword in operation the entier game.

No pilot should leave his base without this paint job on their Thundersword. Courtesy of Roach's Chop Shop.

Create a SimGroup within the Team simgroup for the bots.
Place a Generator and an Inventory Station within that SimGroup.
Save mission then exit out of the mission, restart mission to have gen power the station.
Not sure about the rest of your request concerning path nodes. I haven't toyed with Bots and AI yet.

Since you have satellite internet do you think it is worth getting in my case? Even if it's not good for games does it work well enough for most other things surfing, downloading files, etc.? Do you know if you can use VPN or VOIP with it?

I have the lowest package through Hughesnet, 1.0 Mbps Down - 128 Kbps Up at $60 a month. They F'ed me out of the equipment purchase 50% rebate. Equipment at $400 and a mounting pole at $125. Although I have never been able to attain the  advertised speeds, it works well enough to do most internet functions. Local weather and ISP location weather affects the signal causing latency and linkage problems. Then there's FAP of 200mb DL a day. Video streams or clips is sometimes a futile effort at this rate. Not sure about VPN or VOIP. Ya would need to investigate the fesablity yourself.
Right now, I get my T2 fix at work...  Tongue

satellite internet service to have a stable enough connection to be able to play online.

EPIC FAIL
I have satellite internet. Does not work for online multiplayer games or bittorrents. Speeds fluctuate tremendously and latency is intolerably worse than dial-up. 4000ms vs 400ms ping rate. Then theres dropped transmissions and peak usage times that also affect the connection. Not to mention the cost of satillite vs dialup. Good luck.

-Completely client-side, no downloading needed.

?   Server-side would be no DL.  Client-side = DL

Awright, I've been pretty annoyed at how the teams I play on loose 409 to 410.

With that score, surely the time limit ran it's course with both teams about 50% grap to cap ratio. Either good defence or sorry offense by the current teams... or both. heh
Is this pub or tourney play? If it was comp play, I'd be a bit upset loosing by one grab.
Besides, if the opponents flag is not on it's stand, they cannot score. Said true with your team flag. Knocking the opponents flag off it's stand with random death grabs keep the defenders busy and they would have less time to react when the real strike arrives.

Mostly played "fill in" type roles that were dictated by base or flag conditions, my M.O. was to assist where ever and when ever needed. One minute helping with deployment, the next vehicle expedition or go on a flag run to knock it off the enemy stand. Our group of players would adhere to reacting to prevailing conditions and work as a cohesive unit. Five guys setting up initial defensive equipment can get a lot done in a shorter period than one or two lone farmers. If the enemy defense put up a good resistance, then a ride with the rape train was in order to put some extra hurt on the enemy assets, then camp out in the basement for a little thorn in the side time. If our team was running out of game clock and needed to get that one flag cap to win, I would run intercept or flag cap assist. I also worked the CC quite a bit identifying incoming enemy vehicles and defensive assests.

The amazing thing about this game is the full on variation of what one can do in game, especially when you have been gamming with a tight group of players for sometime. I think they call it...

un-ticking the Hide File Extensions will allow ya to change the file extension through Windows Expolorer.

As long as the vl2 file is in /base, there shouldn't be a problem with the skins unless there some skins in the set that you don't want to use.
If there are some that you don't want to use, highlight vl2 file, open with winRAR, navigate to the desired files, select, drag and drop the ones you want to use into the texture directory and delete the vl2 from base.

or with the vl2 file in the base directory, open with winRAR, navigate to the skin you want to remove, highlight the undesired .png and select delete. This will remove it from the vl2 archive. Make sure that you have the original flie duplicated elsewhere as to not loose the contents if you need to restore to original.

~also delete all existing .dso files using dso killer before running T2.

Hope this helps.
