• Get a 295, if you can find one in stock, pesky ATI fanboy! :P All kidding aside, nice to know that ATI users are getting their issues handled by third parties. Hope the install goes smoothly.
• I've seen both sides of the script equation. I haven't booted up T2 in a bit, but I believe I was script free. When I originally played, I started sans scripts, and moved to them as I moved towards actual team play, where such things were expected. The same goes for the example someone else used, World of Warcraft, arenas…
• Well, what is the purpose of this card? Do you want this to be a full on replacement of your current card? How long do you want it to last? What graphics settings do you feel comfortable playing on? What is your monitor resolution? Do you plan on upgrading your monitor anytime soon? What is your Power Supply's total…
• Lots of people requires a big pipe, something you usually wouldn't find in a residence. The most successful servers I've seen have been dropped off at the office of someone else. Find someone with some pipe and kiss some ass. No, that sentence wasn't meant to be suggestive.
• IIRC that's map specific, there is a thread floating around somewhere that mentions that sort of thing.
• It's easier to find people who care and be obnoxious to them than to care about being obnoxious.
• You'd need to be careful with a full on automated system. I've seen some ban happy admins who do it because they can't admit their faults and/or have issues of their own that bleed over into the game. If Admin A blows their stack for no reason and bans you, something needs to be in place to prevent every server with the…
• While I'm tempted I'm notoriously tight with my money. When the TribesNext community gets a little larger I will reconsider, at this time, most of the servers on the list are wasted cash as they're dead.
• Food for thought, the OP just established that they cannot do what a 4 1/2 year old can do, which is send a picture over the internet. This is a proven fact due to the latest round of commercials floating around. Congratulations OP, you're well behind the curve. Now, to remedy the situation all you have to do is follow my…

• This is a very responsible response to the original question. Depending on what nether regions of the internet you dwell in, various folks have different meanings of Troll. There are some places where typing a short response makes you a troll, others require a fully cited counter point. Some folks are just plain trigger…

• You forgot the 700lbs man living in his parent's basement because he can't get up the stairs.
• No photo, I don't release images of myself to the public. Age: 26 Random Stat: 6'4" Occupation: Owner of a residential tech support company Games: I'll try anything but Hello Kitty. Bio: I'm an asshole. I'm a troll. I swear a lot because I enjoy the over-emphasizing nature it provides to whatever I'm saying. I'll watch the…
• I've personally spammed everyone who enjoys gaming on my buddy lists with the Tribesnext site, only three have signed up and only two have the install actually working, the other UEs endlessly and is waiting for the next patch. IT WILL HAPPEN THOUGH. I'll also probably get banned from a lot of FPS servers because I bring…
• For a moment I thought you were talking about real ads. "Goon Haven is brought to you by Enzyte, the male enhancement solution!"
• I see someone enjoys the same methods I do.

• This. into the offender's anus.
Some people may actually enjoy that. It's much better to drip arsenic into their bloodstream at a specific rate per accumulated ban/kick/vote.
• Random side note, if you find yourself getting a lot of false positives (viruses on legitimate files), you may want to reconsider your choice of anti-virus. Personally, i use Eset's NOD32, which is one of the leaders in the field. They've got a tiny footprint (amount of resources taken), its damn near invisible unless a…
•
link=topic=568.msg5621#msg5621 date=1234189544] Back in my day multiplayer gaming consisted of passing the gameboy to the next person when your ten minutes was up.
THIS And it wasn't a color gameboy!
• Tribaloutpost has a few. Ghetto way: put some mp3s in your mp3 folder (located in the T2 directory), rename them to the current mp3 files.
• Apparently the way to get noticed on Digg is to set up backroom deals for advertising fees. This site was already on Fark, but I think it may have remained TF only.
• :D I'll hop over to RenWerx to see if I can get some activity going. Sadly the only server with pure Ren at the moment is European and sporting a massive ping. If we get things rocking, you should try it out!
• Will this mean the end of vote to change map spamming? :D One can hope!
• We never hear you, only the shocklance, so quit with the "Hear, hear" business. :P
• Oh man, that brought back sweet memories. I'll make sure I've got everything kosher on my end, after that the next step is getting people to play something other than Classic, or finding old Renegades players. Love me some Renegades.
• He's too busy calling people noobs and chain whores to concern himself with such things.
• This. So much this. Standing still or predictable movements will easily end in being hit with a laser. As for calling hax and scripts, things like that, as someone with admin experience in other games, it's not even something you should joke about. I've had to remedy situations where someone joked about someone else…
• Any CTF renegades servers planned? I was a -huge- Renegades player on Aether.net back in the day and I've been itching to use it again after being stuck with Classic's sniper style. IIRC One of you is set to bounty, the other is using TWL maps. I can't recall, is there a way to setup T2 to auto-download maps?
