1 Forums / Server Support / Re: TribesNext Server Status for Site on: March 18, 2017, 06:41:02 AM
The master server list can be found at This will only provide you with a list of IP:Port pairs, and you will need to use a library (something like GameQ) that's capable of "talking" to the individual T2 servers to fetch the information you are interested in.

Alternatively, if you're too lazy to write your own full-scale could always figure out how the server list on this site is retrieved by examining the site source. Smiley
2 Forums / Support / Re: I can't install T2 25034 update after new install on: December 26, 2016, 01:16:47 PM
If you are using the tribes2gsi.exe installer (available from the main page), then there is no need to install the 25034 update (it's already applied!). The only reason you would need to install the 25034 update is if you are installing from a CD or some other outdated install medium.
3 Forums / General Discussion / Re: When will the account creation server be availiable? on: August 28, 2016, 06:04:53 PM
Per the last available comment from Thyth, it seems the account server won't be up before the end of this month. Unfortunately, there isn't any additional information beyond that.

If you, or your friends, have an account already, you could share the credentials in the interim (this would require sharing the key files in your GameData folder, and the non-changeable password to the account)
4 Forums / General Discussion / Re: Silent Eagle is harassment He must get banned please read the topic and vote on: August 21, 2016, 03:34:08 PM
The TribesNext forums are not affiliated with any one server, nor is there any centralized system for banning an account. If you wish to have a user banned from any server, I would suggest contacting the servers administration team.

Thread is locked.

I got a bit bored (and felt like learning AngularJS) and threw together an alternate web-based UI for the community server. You can access it here: Source is available on github (no guarantee that it's pretty, or good).

Hooray for linking to a (dead) GeoCities page that is the T2 equivalent of Fox News The Onion.

Quote from: Deservedly Dead Website
I started writing humorous "news" articles about Tribes 2 before it was released, combining game issues with headlines of the day. The first ones were posted on a site called Tribal Fear. Then I was invited to join one of the leading Tribes sites, Tribes Universe. I've archived all the articles here.
7 Forums / General Discussion / Re: SCP and TribesNext Forums on: August 15, 2014, 09:02:56 AM
What is up on censoring and closing discussion in regards to the server, here?

This is a forums for tribes next and if you are part of the SCP corruption concerns posted, just let us know.

Otherwise, stop closing threads and let us speak our grievances here, that has been expressed by numerous community members, including myself.

No need to protect SCP from backlash, from irate members..unless you are supporting their agenda and in the case, delete my account or ban me.

As I have no need to participate here further, with corruption of the website owners be part of the problem, that has been addressed.

Please move this post to proper forum and do not close it, as this is the forum for the game and if it a sham and just here to promote corruption on server and rouge admins and silence the victims and not let them/us express ourselves, about the situation, within reason, with or without bad words, that is our prerogative and if the admins here, want to keep the discussion from happening here, where it belongs, imho.

Sad day for tribes next forums and understanding now, the true nature of the problem.

Otherwise, let us just speak our minds and let heat and sashimisticane speak up for themselves and their supporters, as it is best thing have read on this forum, in general is the distaste for the admins on SCP and their conduct and those who are on their team.

Just let us know if you are on their team or the communities as a whole, as being neutral is ok, just don't take sides and defend SCP and try to say the forum is not the place, for discussing it and make a mockery of this place and us all.

This general inflammatory attitude/tone in your post (and others like it) are the reason the threads are  being locked.
If the community wants to have a discussion about how SCP is bad, and could be improved or replaced while using grown-up words, logic, and basic human decency to do so they are free to make such posts.
As it stands the typical anti-SCP threads cropping up are the equivalent of a two-year old throwing a tantrum because you put the candy out of their reach, or the bullshit "drama" of teenagers when they threaten to kill themselves over such nonsensical life events as not being invited to the prom.
A great example of this being the comment merged from your other post:
[...] when t2forums is ran by the same group of people accused of community abuse, lying, pedophile ring allegations, lying to and about Brandon at branzone who host SCP and covering up their actions by banning members.

Please turkeh, no disrespect, that forum is ran by SCP cronies and crew, and they banned the complainants, same manner as SCP, as you fully are aware of and please do not suggest we complain or discuss anythinng on that lame site.
As I do not visit those forums I actually wouldn't know who has or has not been banned.

Can be directed to the site.

There's no reason to get bashful over a point that the other threads have concluded at.

oh I never meant no harm my statement [...] I can truly say I am sorry for hurting the young man's feelings.
I find that hard to believe based on your previous comment, and your comment does not have any semblance of an apologetic tone.

Either way the thread's locked & you can go about your merry business with SCP on the t2forums site.

You can also find everything from at TribalOutpost.
11 Forums / General Discussion / Re: The Trash of SCP on: July 27, 2014, 11:09:57 AM
These "discussions" of the SCP server are not going to solve any issues with the managing of the server.
If you feel you have been wronged you should try (calmly) explaining your issue & discussing with the management staff.
If you feel you could do better at managing a server you could always host your own.

Either way a public forum is not the proper way to address topics like these, and these particular forums are not associated with the server.

Please contain all IronSphere beta chatter here rather than filling the General Discussion board with related threads.
13 Forums / Server Support / Re: ServerPrefs Overwrite on: July 22, 2014, 02:07:43 PM
I believe T2 will overwrite your ServerPrefs.cs file with the default version if, for some reason, your altered settings are not valid (syntax error in the file).

Try copying & renaming your altered ServerPrefs.cs file (perhaps something like MyServerPrefs.cs), and once your server has loaded you can try exec'ing it to see if there is an error.
If there is an error you should be able to track it down based on the error in the console.

Alternatively you could post your ServerPrefs.cs file here (excluding your passwords, obviously). Smiley
14 Forums / General Discussion / Re: New In-Game IRC Client on: June 15, 2014, 06:00:58 PM
The only code change required would be in scripts\ChatGui.cs
$IRC::Server = "";

Recompile the .cs to a .cs.dso from within T2

Package the updated .cs and .dso in the .vl2 file

To ensure the new value is picked up you would need to remove the existing entry in your prefs/ClientPrefs.cs
$pref::IRC::Server = "";

You could also add code to automatically overwrite the old server value on initial install of the updated version.
