Look at your prefs folder for ServerPrefs.cs, in there you should see $Host::Port = "28000"; - T2 uses UDP, so you'll want to use that to open a port. New maps will be in .VL2 format, these are basically renamed .zip files so if you are having trouble with getting maps to show up, open it and make sure it has a "missions" and a "terrains" folder.

Fury: Terminal Velocity aims to bring dogfighting to another level, although it's a clientside total conversion. It also will be the only one to integrate bots to buff the small player numbers. You can give the existing build a spin if you want, the client download is in my signature.

I know this is a long shot given how alive the game is nowadays, but are there any mappers around who are up for some light-moderate map manipulation in their spare time? While I can do this myself, I find that design isn't as strong a skill of mine.

The 2.5 exporter and stuff that's included in the file seems to be T1 max files and exporter, which aren't bad finds on their own actually. The T2 exporter included is the one I have currently. It may just be a fact that the python exporter will have to be what's used if none of the other export systems are working with T2.

Hm, what version is the exporter for in the mod pack? I have a copy of 3DSMax v3.1 running in a VM from a russian abandonware site, and it loads the .max files fine, but exported meshes seem to UE the client. I don't remember what version I used last time I did this unfortunately, maybe v3.5? Anyone who can pitch in some help would be appreciated!

http://www.tribaloutpost.com seems to have broken over the past few days, with no way of contacting the site owner. Would the site owner happen to lurk around here?

How about other map sites? I'm primarily looking for vehicle-focused, client side, and lagg-alot bot maps for my own mod project, but really any map repository will work.

Boy I'm glad I checked back here, working on a new vehicle-centric clientside TC mod and me and the team could _not_ find 3DSMax 2.5/3.5 for the life of me. According to my database stats, I've had 170 unique accounts connect to my alpha server. I will eventually go clientside, but for the time being getting into the game and letting people explore makes a server population much more willing to hang around. This is mostly moot though, as I'm not sure how to really do a serverside T2RPG.

There's no really good way to parse JSON that I can think of, but if you can let me know. Could probably be optimized slightly, the primary purpose was quickly made for communications.
